Preety (Home)

Music is a gift that is bestowed on only a few. Preety is one of those fortunate singers who discovered this talent at a very early stage in her life, andit soon became a passion. She was brought up in an ambience of music at home where her mother is an M.A(Music) and father, though an ex-Merchant Navy Capt, is also an excellent singer. She is trained under many respected vocalists like Bhavdeep Jaipurwale, Pt Girdhar Prasad Jaipurwale, Mrs Cilia Lobo, Ustad Asif Khan, Mrs Madhuri Joshi & Mrs Shyama Joshi to name a few, in Indian classical music as well as ghazals.

Preety’s singing talent was noticed as early as her school days. She won many singing competitions in school, and later in college as well. And what set this talented girl apart from others was the fact that even academically she was an achiever. She was a gold medalist in college and then went on to do an MBA(Marketing). But with the god-gifted talent in music and a terrific voice, she could not stop herself from pursuing her childhood passion, and thereafter devoted herself completely to music. After that, there was no looking back.
